			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Here&#8217;s the reading order of the NT books if you are interested. Please note that not all biblical scholars agree on the exact chronological order of the NT books. This is based off of <span id="lw_1231974799_1" class="yshortcuts">Frank Viola</span>&#8217;s &#8220;<span id="lw_1231974799_2" class="yshortcuts">The Untold Story</span> of the <span id="lw_1231974799_3" class="yshortcuts">New Testament Church</span>&#8221; and if you&#8217;d like, you can also follow along with Viola&#8217;s book to understand some of the historical context in which the books were written.</p>
<p>If you are following along with his book, you&#8217;ll notice that Viola adds his own commentary and just as good practice, it&#8217;s always a good idea to ask the <span id="lw_1231974799_4" class="yshortcuts">Holy Spirit</span> for discernment over everything that you&#8217;re reading. We want to be like the <span id="lw_1231974799_5" class="yshortcuts">Bereans</span>, who &#8220;listened eagerly to Paul&#8217;s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth.&#8221; Acts 17:11</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the order and a sample schedule just based on 10 chapters a day. Again, this is just a guideline, so feel free to adjust accordingly (i.e. if you want to read ahead, don&#8217;t like ending in the middle of a book, etc.)</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Isaiah 58 says…the kind of <em>fasting</em> I want calls you to free those who are wrongly imprisoned and to stop oppressing those who work for you. Treat them fairly and give them what they earn. <em>I want you to share your food with the hungry and to welcome poor wanderers into your homes. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help</em>. If you do these things, your salvation will come like the dawn. Yes, your healing will come quickly. Your godliness will lead you forward, and the glory of the LORD will protect you from behind.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The Holy Spirit has led us to follow Jesus’ own teaching in Matthew 6:<span> </span>Giving, Praying, and Fasting.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">So that He can release the promises of Isaiah 58: Salvation, Healing, Godliness, and the Glory of the LORD.</p>

<p>We had such a powerful time praying for our family members who have not yet given their lives to Jesus.  We prayed that God would restore hope in us that these members will come to know Him.  We told God that we believe He can bring salvation to our families, but we need Him to help our unbelief!<br />
We prayed the prayers we prayed the past week over our family members.  We prayed that they would see their spiritual poverty without God in their lives.  We also prayed that they will have freedom to worship God.  We asked God to remove the things that keep them from turning to Him and worshipping Him.<br />
We laid hands and prayed for everyone with immediate family members who do not know Jesus.</p>
<p>God gave us some very clear pictures.  We saw a picture of fire coming out of our mouths and hands.  We also saw a hand dripping with oil.  We prayed that as we spend time in the Presence of God, we will overflow with God&#8217;s Presence wherever we go so that even our family members cannot deny His Presence!</p>
<p><span style="font-style: italic;">Fill us with Your Spirit and Your Presence, o God!</span></p>

<p>We joined Transformation church at their Reformation House of Prayer (RHOP).  A group of them just came back from Florida at the Lakeland revival.  We wanted to go and receive whatever blessings they received in Florida.</p>
<p>We were encouraged because they shared about being POOR and hungry before God.  Jonathan felt he saw a picture and received a message about poverty.  We are to embrace poverty and not be afraid of it because poverty will bring us before God.  He felt that there is a grace during this season to embrace poverty.</p>
<p>Transformation church also spent time laying their hands on our church and praying over us individually.  We were so encouraged by the words they prayed over us!  They were so kind to spend a lot of time ministering to us!</p>

<p>We want God to have His way with us.  We want Him to have FREEDOM to move in our midst, to do whatever He wants to do.  We want our own control to be relinquished so that God can have total control of our lives.<br />
We must regularly be meeting Him and let Him prune us.</p>
<p>We are ordinary people, a plain group, a group without much.  However, if God moves in our midst, if He chooses to turn to us, then He can do some extraordinary miracles!<em><em><em><em><em><em></em></em></em></em></em></em></p>

<p>As we gathered to worship and pray, we sensed a very strong yet gentle Presence of God.  His Presence pulled worship out of us!  There was a sweet freedom to worship <em>Him</em>.  His Presence ministered to our hearts and our souls.  In His Presence, He was freeing our spirits, healing our hearts and stripping us as individuals so that we can be ready for what He has called us to do.</p>
<p>He is such a KIND God.  His kindness causes us to turn back to Him.  We were so blessed together as believers, or &#8216;together with all the saints&#8217;, to marvel in His kind love together.<br />
We prayed that we would become kind people as He is kind&#8230;</p>

<p>We spent the night waiting on God for each other, laying hands on each individual and sharing words that we felt God was saying.  We also prayed for individuals of our community that were not with us.</p>
<p><strong>Tuesday, May 6, 2008</strong></p>
<p>We felt that we needed more of God&#8217;s power in our midst.  We need more of the Holy Spirit and His gifts to edify the church.  We felt that we need freedom:  1) our spirits need to be released and freed to fully express our worship to God and 2) we must give God freedom in our midst to move as HE pleases!</p>

Are we out chasing the &#8217;successes&#8217; of the world?  As we are learning about loving God first, we feel that this is a message that must be taken out to our peers!

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Jonathan shared about the Asian American churches, particularly the Chinese churches.  Where is our generation?  Where is our youth?  Are we out chasing the &#8217;successes&#8217; of the world?  As we are learning about loving God first, we feel that this is a message that must be taken out to our peers!<br />
We also felt spiritual warfare against the message that we are learning about the primacy of loving God.  People felt weary and heavy throughout the week.</p>
<p>We decided to worship!  We will worship to declare that we will continue to pursue loving God.  We will also worship to stand in the gap, interceeding, for our generation, for our peers, for our people group!</p>
